1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Veesa mobile application or visiting the Veesa website ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
Veesa reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Services
Veesa is a UK visa and immigration companion app that provides tools and information to help immigrants navigate life in the United Kingdom, including:
- Visa expiry tracking and reminders
- Licensed sponsor register search
- DVLA vehicle checks (tax, MOT, history)
- SOC code job eligibility checker
- Energy, water, and broadband comparison
- Immigration rules and visa pathway information
- Public sector contract discovery
- Visa fee and IHS calculators
3. Not Legal Advice
Veesa provides information for planning and reference purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice.
The information provided is based on publicly available data from GOV.UK, DVLA, the Home Office, and the UK Parliament. We make no guarantees as to its completeness, accuracy, or currency.
For advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified immigration adviser regulated by the OISC or a solicitor regulated by the SRA. Veesa is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account via Google or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
You may delete your account at any time through the app, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Paid Features
Certain features may require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees at the prices displayed at the time of purchase
- Provide valid payment information through Stripe
- Accept that payments are per-use and non-refundable unless the service fails to deliver the requested information
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
- Misrepresent your identity
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Resell or commercially exploit data from the Services without consent
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations.
7. Third-Party Services and Data
Veesa integrates with third-party sources including:
- DVLA: Vehicle tax, MOT, and registration data
- GOV.UK: Licensed sponsors, immigration rules, visa fees
- Octopus Energy: Energy tariff comparison
- Contracts Finder: Public sector contract listings
- postcodes.io: Postcode validation
We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Veesa — including text, graphics, logos, the compass logo design, and software — are owned by Veesa and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- Veesa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
- We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed what you paid us in the preceding 12 months
Nothing excludes our liability for death, personal injury from negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veesa from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Services ceases immediately
- We may delete your account and associated data
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
